Taste in a dream!

I was getting ready to go to school and for some reason there were 2 sodas on the table. There was a Mountain Dew and a Coca Cola Black. I picked up the Coke and I drank it, and I remember tasting it exactly the way it tasted. Crazy!

i was swimming in some sort of beach/ swimming pool and i vividly remember tasting salt water... that was pretty cool

Well, why shouldn't taset be the same? Vision is the same, audio is the same, so why not the other senses? I can always taste things in lucid dreams.

In one of my most resent lucid dreams, I decided to eat some grass and make it taste like chocolate. It just tasted of grass.

Where do you think taste, vision, sound comes from? ...If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound?... No. Sound - noun - The sensation stimulated in the organs of hearing by such vibrations in the air or other medium. It is not sound until it is interpreted in your brain as being that. Before that, it's just vibrations. Anyway, all these sensations are interpreted by your brain. It can handle dreaming about them. Oh, and by the way... That crap about pinching yourself in a dream is wrong too. Most of the time it works, but I have definately felt pain in a dream before... In the end... after some of the lucid dreams that I've had, when I could run my hand along the ground and feel every hair on every blade of grass, where I felt the wind hit my face, and the dirt crunch under my toes.... That sounds awesome, it's like this guy from the "waking life" movie that he says that he's working on 360 vision. I can't even imagine how it would feel like (ok a bit ...) I'm definitely adding this to my to-do list On the topic, I agree with sloth, your mind can recreate any scenario and invent new ones as well. Taste in a dream is definitively possible. Something that would be fun to taste in a dream would be the most acidic caramel in the world (like warheads if anyone has tried them ) or trying to taste some stupid stuff like a toaster, or a piece of cloud. Maybe you could even force your brain to mix up signals to let you be able to taste what you see or what you hear That should definitively prove quite interesting. Any more ideas to expand your taste in a dream

You can think you taste in a dream. Mind over matter. I eat all the time! Infinite amounts of Chocolate Moose and I never get full. Amazing.

I've eaten stuff in dreams (not lucid dreams) and for the most part, everything ended up tasting like crap.

A few nights ago I was ordering coffee from a concession-like stand in a dream. I had a small moment of lucidity and thought to myself that I wanted it to taste really awesome, so it did. It was some of the best coffee I've ever had. I want more. Mmm. As far as tasting your computer, go right ahead right now. Take a lick! Probably not too flavorful. Anyway, I don't know why you'd want to do that in your dream. I'd like to focus on tasting stuff that is actually delicious.
