      I tried WILD again

I think I was trying too hard because I attempted it about ten times and my stupid sister kept moving, which distracted me and made me frustrated. I am good at making my body completely relaxed almost to the point of paralysis, while counting, but the hypnogogic imagery doesn't come! The most that came was moving gray lines. Also, my eyes started twitching uncontrollably during this stage. Is that supposed to happen? Can someone help me with the imagery part of WILD please?

When I use WBTB method and I focus on the HI's it can happen a couple of ways. Sometimes you'll see shapes and colors etc in your eyes (eyes closed). Other times you can see full blow images (eyes closed) just as when you thinking about a memory. It can be as clear as that. This is how individuals enter the same dream, they picture themselves in the place they just left (therefore re-entering the dream). Focusing on HI's for me (note: I don't count down in WILDS) has been my greatest success rate. Counting just helps you focus and prevents your mind from wondering.

Get a visual in your mind and picture youself in it, at that moment and go from there.

      Hope this helps!

It's not uncommon for muscles to twitch while you try WILD, even your eyes I suppose.
