      I just woke up after a half successful WILD attempt (I had the image of going down stairs and my voice saying "I will Lucid dream, I will pass from the waking world into lucidity" before I woke up). I that in my dream I could hear my ceiling fan going and because of it I lost the dream. Has this ever happened to anyone?

      P.S. I guess I'm just writing this because I'm still half asleep and this fan really...
      PISSES ME OFF RIGHT NOW!!

      I've had sound distract me and prevent WILD success a few times. So, then I started wearing earplugs. But, then something stupid and kinda *duh* obvious happened, and so I can;t bring myself to wear earplugs anymore.

      Basically, I found myself in a non-lucid dream, wearing earplugs and a dressing-gown, in a pharmacy. I had to take the earplkugs out, in the dream, to hear what the pharmacist was saying. I didn't become lucid, and I've kicked myself for that ever since....

      But, I highly reccomend wearing foam earplugs if sound is distracting you.
