It's very important not to concentrate too much on the images, as this could wake you up. You need to try and keep a sort of "passive" mind, just let the images appear without paying too much attention to them. "Stepping into the dream" is different for everyone. Often, when you leave it long enough you will automatically slip into one of the scenes that your mind has created as you go through the transition phase. Or you may have to visualise yourself in the dream, and really will it to happen. With this you will need to experiment, and remember not to get too excited by the images you see, or you could wake up. And if you fail, remember to do an RC, because you may be in the dream, but think that you have simply failed the WILD, and have woken back up in your bed. Sometimes the images abruptly stop. in which case all you may need to do is open your eyes and do an RC, as you may actually be dreaming, and your eyes were closed within the dream. |
