I haven't had an LD in a pretty long time (over a month now). I have recorded 20+ dreams in my journal and listed a couple of dream signs. I am using EWOLD as a guide. Now, I'm actually trying to induce LD's, but alas, it's very difficult. I have tried WILD so many time, but it doesn't work. Can someone recommend a good technique that I can try? I have tried a lot of techniques, but none of them work. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S: I am not the person who experiences HI and I only get mild SP. Also, it's extremely hard for me to focus on my breathing, because then I won't fall asleep!

      Thanks in advance,
      momoshun

u should be remembering at least 1 dream a night before trying any techniques. do lots of reality checks and combine it with a mild and a wbtb. that usually works for me, but (very big but) everyone is different. no one technique is going to work all the time for everyone. u have to stick with one and test it out then try another if that one doesnt work try another and another etc. just keep at it and keep writing in that dream jornal

Hello again, thanks for the replies. I am remembering a dream a night and have been recording in my DJ. I think the problem is that my sleep schedule is very unpredictable. It's hard for me to fall asleep at 11 or 12, and I usually go to bed at 1 am or later and get up at 11 am or even 12.

My dreams are usually very fragmented and not that vivid. They're also things that could happen in real life, but the context is skewed. I never dream of anything that couldn't happen in reality.

I also did try the non induction technique last night, but it did not work for me. Maybe I was doing it wrong, I don't know. My biggest problem is my thoughts are everywhere; it's hard for me to focus on one thing.

Maybe I should try RC's; I haven't done any of those.

If you've been trying for over a month without success, you might want to try the Noninduction technique. Basically you hype up your mind with LDing by reading the forum or site and then when you go to bed, you don't think about LDing, just let your normal pre-sleep thoughts fly or clear your mind completely until you fall a sleep. Here's a link: http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/inde...howtopic=36064
(I've been promoting this tech all day b/c I had great success last night with it)

Usually, I think, sleeping pills prevent dream recall.

If you sleep decent hours, melatonin will shrink your first 2 REM's and make your last REM's longer from the rebound effect.
