      Thumbs up

I had an idea today, and am ready to try it out tonight.
What I did with my sister, who is also trying lucid dreaming, is tell her:

"When I'm in your dream I will remind you you are dreaming"

and she said the same thing back to me.

Now hopefully when she is a DC in my dream she will say or do something to help me become lucid.

Do you think this could work and will you try it?

I think it could work, just yesterday I was talking to my friend about LD'ing, a skill which he has mastered , and I got lucid that night, though it was very short

No lucids for me last night.
I tried CILD + WILD and even (forgot what its really called) subliminal messages using the Lucid Induction.mp3
      Shucks.
Now I need to yell at my sister for not reminding me, j.k.</div>

      <div align="center">--UPDATE--</div>

Just in case anyone reads this and wonders how it has gone.

So far it has not worked. My sister has been in at least 2 dreams (out of 8 ) and I&#39;m the one that told her I was dreaming.

you told her you were dreaming and nothing clicked??
I think you might need something better to reality check ??

No, I knew I was dreaming when I told her.
But, she did not tell me we were dreaming like I wanted.

I&#39;ve tried this approach in 2 different LDs.
In one the DC I asked was a new character. He said he would tell me when I was dreaming. Never seen him again

In a long LD I asked a DC of my father (who appears frequently in my dreams) if he would remind me when I&#39;m dreaming. He said yes, but never did.

I believe DCs generally represent lower level mental activity. So if your not lucid, they&#39;re not going to help you.

But I have had one LD where a DC intentionally made me lucid. He was a new DC, but hasn&#39;t appeared in any more dreams yet.

Doesn&#39;t seem like there are any effective cheats/shortcuts for LDs yet....

Hm nice idea. That might just have a reasonable chance of working. There are people that can say: &#39;I am going to dream this and that&#39; and they will.

      That sounds cool, Asclepius.

Too bad it didn&#39;t work. Good luck though.

Thats kind of ironic isn&#39;t it?
"Sure I&#39;ll remind you." he says, and you never see him ever again.

Yeah, Neruo, it might work for some people. So far not for us it seems.
I need to find a DC That is reliable and doesn&#39;t lie to me. Maybe... myself?
