From what i understand a LOT of people have trouble with WILD, probably due to concentration issuse.
Give this a try:
Find a movie you have memorized. wake up after 4-6 hours of sleep, and put the movie on. Close your eyes, and listen to the talking in the movie (since you have it memorized you will know everything). Try to match the talking to what is happening in the movie. In other words, play the scenes out in your head.
Because the movie is "burned" in your subconscious, your thoughts will be automated. You will play out the scenes without really thinking about it as your body falls deeper and deeper into sleep, putting you in a kind of trance.

Ideally, you shouldnt be thinking about WILD or sleep. Also, you shoud wake up, and try this IMMEDIATELY, so you are as tired as possible. Plus, it will give you something fun to do, instead of getting bored

I cant try this technique because i have a roommate, but if somebody could try it and tell me how it works out, that would be awesome.

I guess this could be tried with music and headphones. Its worth a try
