Okay, I had this dream (I quickly forgot what it was about though), and around 2:00 I woke up, I didn't open my eyes though. I know it was a interesting dream so I was trying to visualize where I left off so I can hopefully go to sleep and have it again. It was very vivid at that moment, and my body suddenly started to feel "numb". It happened so quick I didn't expect it and I was trying to keep my thoughts on the dream, but I began to think about the "numb" feeling so the "numbness" stopped. So then I partially lost my dream. I tried to visualize it again, but it didn't turn out so well. So I gave up and checked what time it was. It was all a spur of the moment thing. Can anyone help me out?

It sounds to me like you were on the virge of reentering your dream using a type of WILD. The numbness was quite possibly your body getting ready to enter sleep paralysis.

It's too bad you concentrated on it, that will usually stop it right away. Next time, when you start to feel the numbness, try to ignore it.

      Good luck!

Sorry for not responding eariler, I forgot about this. Anyway, thanks for responding. It's like I said, I wasn't expecting this. I've had constant failure and so I usually don't bother. I think I need to really get back into practicing Dream Recall and keeping a journal.

And now I got to go, I'm in school and the period's almost over.
