OK so my first lucid was about a week ago, heavily detailed here http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/inde...howtopic=39081 (5th post, you don't need to read it but if you're interested...)
The second was three days ago, and I just had my third. I was in an old italian looking town and suddenly realised I was dreaming. I remember thinking "whoa this is very realistic". I spun for a bit and remember thinking "not much difference but a little more real". The problem is when I actually look back, I don't remember it being very real. The same thing happened with the other two. Is the memory likely to be false? Or maybe it was actually quite surreal but my interpretation was incorrect due to my state of mind.
Secondly, each one has only lasted for about 2 minutes. In each one I flew (which I'm now pretty sick of) then landed and tried spinning to increase realism which inevitably starts decreasing as the dream progresses. But the problem is when I spin it seems to do nothing. No matter what I do, after about 2 minutes I wake up or have a false awakening (in the dream I just had I had a false awakening and stopped trying to be conscious and consequently I went back into deep sleep and forget any dreams I had afterwards).

It's normal that you don't see your lucids now as real as they really was.

It's like... try to imagine, what you did 5 minutes ago (now, in real world). It doesn't look much real, does it? But you just know it was real. The same with dreams.

Hm. Yeah I spose you're right, I never thought of it like that. Thanks. Man I'm glad that's not a problem.
So, any ideas on number 2? Bottom line: My lucid dreams fade after 2 minutes, and spinning makes very little difference.

23 views and no posting... Did I say something wrong? Sometimes I sound rude online but I don't mean to. If I'm sounding like an asshat, please tell me.

I really doubt you insulted anyone . My lucid dreams are short-ish aswell. I usualy (don't know why) don't try and stop the dream from fadeing. If spinning doesn't work there are some other techniques, like rubbing your hands together, concentrationg on sound or vision and maby some others.
I'll edit it if I remember something else .

what helps me stablize my dreams is get on my dream knees and look at my hands for like 30 sec. if you need ideas for lds (since your sick of flying) go to bed with a plan for your ld. write it down if you have to but just make sure you know your plan before you go to sleep. As for making your lds longer, there was i cool idea that someone had one this forum ( i really liked the idea and im going to try it as soon as i can ) when they saw the dream start to fade, they shouted out that they would have a false awakening and simpley did a reality check when they found themselves in bed.

hope that helps and good luck! whoever it was that did the fa think first thanks!
