"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." (Franklin D. Roosevelt)
Correct?
(My new "axiom" for lucid dreaming)[/b]
Good summary I think it's spot-on.
You can be as boring as or wild as you want in an LD. If you want to sit there and weave a basket the whole time - well, do it! You can do whatever your little heart desires - that's the whole point. Next time you're lucid, just try to calm yourself down, lean against a wall and take a couple breaths. Know that you are in control of everything. Then just walk around your environment and observe everything - look at all the detail. You can even wake yourself back up if you wanted to (though I wouldn't recommend it! )
This is a good opportunity to conquer the 'fear of fear itself.' Don't worry, you'll get used to the sensation with practice. I've got faith in you!
