Hi. This is my first post ever... anywhere! So have been lurking around since July just to get an idea of what the etiquette is here.
It's probably not the place for diagnoses but I thought I'd start straight off with a bit of a weird one, or at least it seems weird to me.

I've been trying to practice WILDing a couple times a week for a few months now and almost always I get this thing, just before paralysis starts setting in, where my right foot starts kind of twitching and spasming.

I can stop it but it takes a bit of effort. And it sometimes stops if I take my focus completely away form my foot.
Its almost like my muscles have taken leave of my brain and are just doing their own thing.
I was a bit scared at first but now I just go with the flow and it usually settles down after about half an hour.

Anybody else had anyhting like this?

Now here is Nowhere

I woke up this morning and got into bed. Went up to the roof and swam down the chimney to the mall. They had a special on meat so I poured some into a glass and watered the milkman. Then I drew myself home and found the fish had ate the cat the cat had ate the dog and the dog had been eaten by the mailman. Then I got out of bed and went back to sleep.

well watching saw3 gave me a good idea to solve your problem. well you get a saw hold down your foot and just saw your foot off it that easy.

Ok thanx guys thats reassuring.
When a person is new to the whole conscious-while-falling-a-sleep-thing you can start attributing freaky explanations to pretty normal phenomena.

Oh, and i'm a pretty "worst case scenario" sort of person so, yeah, the saw thing had crossed my mind.

Appreciate the replies

I think all the times I'm trying to get to the point of "not feeling my body" I get this twitch - but only one. No need to "fight" with that or something. I was wondering all the time if I'm alone so I see it's normal.

Wow...now it makes sense! Why didn't I know about those? More researching for me... But I got hypnic jerks a couple of times, that means I'm not a complete failure when it comes to WILD!
