Thats cool to hear, Kanious! Personally I never had such a long LD yet, but your account kinda gives me extra motivation to go for it (Im having a bit of a drought lol but slowly getting back there...)

And no need to thank me, its fun sharing ideas on the forum . This is actually a technique that has been working for hundreds of years since it seems it was invented by yogis ages ago. I just "accidentaly" stumbled upon it when I tried it a few years ago.

ps: please do post that dream on the forum, I searched but you have not posted it yet, I'm curious

This sounds a lot like something I used to do when I was younger, every night before I went to sleep I would imagine myself rotating on a axis, however I used to imagine I rotated back and forth, so around an axis that went through waist level.

The same happened, I would concentrate hard on rotating and eventually rotate to the point where I was standing. I used to be lucid but in a passive way, I didn't realise I was dreaming but at the same time I was exploring the dream on my own, not just watching.

Trying to gain lucidity again though; using this technique to some extent, and I know it works because I used to do it

Cool idea Xetrov, I'll give it a whirl. Hehe. I'm quite new to LDing but a few weeks ago I awoke in the morning and as I went back to sleep realized I could feel my dream body's arms had become separate from my RL body. I instinctively started spinning like you described because I heard it can create a new dream. Well it worked but it was such a realistic dream I completely lost lucidity and even forgot the dream when I woke up later.

Btw, what do you usually do once you've rolled off the bed in your dream body? Do you walk around the house or do you go outside on some kind of adventure? And if so, do you have to walk out the front door, or do you fly out the window or something?

      Thanks,
      ZM

      Hey Zenman,

Yes you were close, im sure you can get lucid when you keep practising rolling! At first when I did this tech, I just stood there in my (dream)bedroom, being flabbergasted that I had actually wilded, and by the details of the dream. Everything was in my room, all my stuff, I could feel all the textures. Later on I also just started exploring in the house, but mostly I went "X-Ray style" straight through the wall/window and jumped down to the street, so start exploring from there.
