Yeah, that's very inspiring. I do have lucid dreams now and then, however, they just don't last long. But that's OK, even though they don't last long now, doesn't mean they won't last long later. Same for having lucid dreamings. Having no lucid dreams now doesn't mean it will always have to be this way. And yeah, normal dreams are really cool too. I remember that someone quoted an author of a lucid dreaming book where the author said that you should value normal dreams as much as lucid dreams in order to become lucid dreams.
Personally, I'm not sure whether it's that bad to become frustrated. Acknowledge your feelings. Being frustrated for a few days of not having any lucid dreams, might reach your subconscious. After a few days, let your frustrations go. I think you'll have a pretty big chance of having a lucid dream in that period. Emotions are very powerful.
