I was wondering how good your recall should be before you start really tring to induce lucidity? I can remember about 2 a4 pages of dream a night (usually 1 or 2 very long dreams or a longish dream with some shorter dreams) Is this enough to become lucid with or should I concentrate on recall a bit more?

I am asking this because I tried to LD a week or two ago (only remembering one dream per night) and it stopped my recall for a few days. Was this a coincidence or could it be because I had stopped focusing on my dream recall to have an LD??

Maybe you were trying too hard. I think it's just coincidence, though. Don't worry much about it. I've had 'dry periods' too. Periods where I couldn't recall dreams for days. Then, upon one night, I was telling myself: "Today, I want to remember my dreams." I did, and I got a sweet bonus LD aswell.
      Sure, why not?
