I suggest you just focus on it, and think of what you want to do once lucid (before you're going to sleep for example). Just keep trying. After a while, you'll get the hang of it. It's all a matter of practice. |

I've tried DILD for a couple of weeks and I've had a few lucid dreams but the thing is that at the very moment I become lucid I just can't stop myself from floating up in the air and as i rise I get more and more excited and wake up. Every time the same problem - lucid - wow i must fly! - wake up. |

Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

Sure, why not?

I do believe BIllyBob posted a thread about stablizing your lucids, something to do with looking at your hands |

I used to have the same problem, I think a lot of people do. It takes some practice. Just focus on your surroundings, and make sure that as you do so to remind yourself that you're dreaming, so that you don't lose lucidity. Look at your hands, look at any details in the area around you, listen, smell, taste. Just focus on what's there, don't let the dream fade. |

Yes, BillyBob wrote an article on this. Try it, it worked great for me. Check out BillyBob's other threads, they are great. |
