Hi guys, just a couple of questions:

I've never successfully WILDed.
Why? Because I get distracted SO easily. Can anybody give me some tips as to how I should stay focused on WILDing?

Secondly, If I wake up early in the morning, before I want to get up, and I have just come from a non-lucid dream, is there a way to get back into this dream? It sounds possible , but the last three nights I've woken up from vivid dreams that I would really like to get back into and become lucid.

Cheers,

Pete.

concentration during WILD is a very practiced art. You should try looking up some meditation techniques. My favorite is the white candle technique. I'm sure you can find these on your own. This will help you learn to concentrate and stay focused.

As for getting back into a dream, this is a frustration I will never be able to overcome

The easiest way to get back into a dream is not to wake up too much i.e. don't get out of bed. So when you wake up from a dream you want to go back into don't open your eyes and just lay back, relax and think about the dream, imagine you're in the dream and you should soon find your self back in the dream

That's true. I've done that before. It works really well.

A big part of a successful WILD depends on how tired you are. Too tired and you fall back asleep, too awake and you lie there forever and get frustrated. With practice you'll discover the conditions that suit you best.

The other hard part is knowing how/when to "jump in" the dream. You need to wait until it's like you're watching a movie (sometimes you're hearing it too,) then you enter the dream. That part is hard to explain but you'll know it when you do it. Good luck.

EDIT: Oh, and do a search on dream re-entry. There was a good post about it a while back (it may even be a tutorial.)
