Often times, I will be dreaming and I will think to myself in my sleep "I have to tell my friend's about this awesome dream." Yet when I realize that I was thinking that in the morning, I always kick myself for not realizing this.

I've been trying to become lucid for about half a year now, but I must be doing something wrong because I've only had two weak, short LDs.

So is there anyway I can strengthen this? It never happens at a particular time, and I've tried dream signs, but it seems as though there isn't much in my dreams that stay the same! My dream recall is pretty good as well, seeing how I can remember up to 4 dreams a night.

Tonight, I'll be trying some different techniques, but I'd be very happy if someone could help me.

      Thanks!

      ~Max

Do you do any reality checks? What techniques have you tried so far? Good ones to try are MILD and WBTB.

If you happen to wake up at least one time in the night, you can try to do some maths in your head (for like 2 - 3 minutes or more, if you wanted to). This sharpens and strengthens your logical mind. Which will help you realize it's a dream whenever you're in a dream, instead of just "knowing" it.
      Sure, why not?
