Hey all!

I've been doing the counting technique to try WILDing. I usually only get to around 30 breaths before I feel very relaxed indeed.

I then get to around 40 or 50 breaths, and this is where something else kicks in. I think that these are vibrations, but I can't be completely sure as they're not exactly what I expected, but I don't know what else they could be. It feels like a tingling sensation that starts at around my mid-section then moves both upwards and downwards from there.

      Are these vibrations?

Anyway, when I reach this point I get a bit excited thinking about LDing, and I sometimes lose the vibrations. I then have to work it back up again, and just try and focus on the counting.

After a while here, I give up. This is usually 20-25 minutes after I started. But the last time that I tried the technique, I started seeing a few red splashes of colour. They grew more intense as I looked with them with my mind's eye, and not my real eyes.

But upon seeing these, I started thinking some more and lost them, and gave up.

What should I do after I reach this point?

By the way, this is all done before I've had any sleep. I know that I should get up a few hours later then try, but I really can't be arsed at the time - which also annoys me seeing that I want to do it now! (I have no self-control )

      Cheers,

      Pete

When you get vibrations....you'll KNOW it...you won't have to ask. Trust me. Before I had experienced it, I didn't really understand what people were talking about...their bodies vibrating? But it's entirely true. It's like you entire body turns into one of those back massagers and is honestly vibrating. Not just the tingles that you get when you're body is going into sleep paralysis. I think that if you just kept going from here, which is what it sounds like you were experiencing, the tingles will usually lead to the vibrations...and once you hit the vibrational stage you're pretty much going to get into a Lucid Dream, all you have to do is stick it out by watching the HI just like watching tv. Then you actually step INSIDE the tv to have a LD. It's not like that every time, but sometimes. Anyways, good luck. Just be patient....it takes me a good 45 minutes usually to reach the vibrational stage when I'm WILDing on purpose.

Aquanina, since you seem to be a bit experienced at WILDing, do you think you could check out my latest thread and answer my question there? Thanks!
