the link has certainly been helpful for me, but the bad thing about insomnia is the lack of dreams and how short lived your dreams are but I had two 'relaxation Wilds' this morning after a long night of just resting bed.
In the early morning I got my mind to shut up, completely silent. And then I felt that distinct falling asleep feeling. I was sinking into my bed, and my vision was getting darker and darker, although the sun was rising. The HI was vivid. I remember seeing water being poured on random objects. It got to the point where I could pour the water with my hands onto the random objects. I wasn't trying to WILD at this time, really just the oppisite, I was trying to get lost in the HI and completely fall asleep.
But at some point, I realized I was in the HI entirely. Although, I could still feel the bed and hear the morning traffic outside. I thought about a ledge, like a porch ledge. And a room with a porch appeared, and I thought, if I just jump I'll literally jump into the dream. And I did it was great!! The moment I started flying I was entirely in the dream, and I was lucid. It was rather nice, and strange.
Its a weird subtle WILD for me, becuase I have had the other type of WILD before as well, with extreme sensations and the buzz of sleep paralysis. With those WILDS *the most common kind I guess* I also wake up on my bed in a false awakening. With this more 'relaxed WILD' I more like disolve into the HI. I like the relaxed way better. The buzz of the sleep paralysis can be shocking sometimes and wake you out of the WILD.
I'm not exactly sure how the two are done differently. . .
Now if only I can get rid of my OTHER problem!! Since I was lucid I was aware I was dreaming in the morning, I was so afraid of sleeping in too much that I periodically looked at my watch - some how thinking my dream watch will be accurate *oops*. My watch said 12pm, damn! So I woke myself up to find it was only 9am! Lesson learned
