      see this video

I think that this would be useful for people who have troubble begining WILDS (relaxation) I found it while surfing youtube looking for video clips. Its a basic self hypnosis video but I found that I was relaxing greatly as I was watching it- so my idea is that one can just continue this for WILD

Let me know what you think of this clip

I think I slightly 'began' to have a WILD. I dont know, I've never had a lucid dream, but maybe you can tell me if I had one.

I saw a black square (in my mind), then it kind of inverted. then, while picturing a place, I could somewhat see the square turning into a creek, But then I opened my eyes.

      Did I enter a pre-stage of a WILD?

I just watched this video, it was pretty cool at the end. I just started laughing for no reason, lol. When I first closed my eyes, all I saw was black. Then for some reason it was like a giant red or orange blob. For about 10-15 seconds I could actually see that blackboard with the guy standing next to it. I tried to write my name on the blackboard, and I wrote a J, but then it all started to disappear.

I started smiling a bit at certain parts of the video, probably because this stuff excites me.

Hey that was actually a great hypnosis. I guess the trick is to be openminded enough towards it cuz it really relaxed me and tranced me out pretty well. Is there more stuff from this guy on You Tube?

I think I'm going to investigate his words and techniques to apply them to myself.

i've heard a few hypnosis examples and they all seem to use the same steps he talks about there. i liked the video for showing hypnosis condensed so one could add as much to which ever section he or she chooses. I think SKA is right about being open to the idea of trances, otherwise people spend the whole time in mind babble about how it doesn't work or is a waste of time.

What I have seen after closing the eyes, was just an afterimage. It was very vivid, but is something that happens if you look for a long time to a image and close your eyes. This happened because I looked to that dot a long time.
      I didn't experienced other effects.

      wow that was great!

i started feeling relaxed after about 10 or 15 seconds... someone else already said it, but i also could see a square or rectangular afterimage, much longer than the afterimage of the dot. i think the square is just the edges of your monitor. i also felt that toward the end i was feeling the BEGINNING stages of SP and HI. unbelievable, considering how long it takes me in bed... usually at least 10-15 minutes before i even start feeling SP.

what he said about being open to new ideas... i imagine that as oneironauts, we as a whole are much more likely to be receptive to hypnosis... since the idea of lucid dreaming does require an open mind to even see the endless possibilities of it.
