It's been said that SP is a very common part of LD's, especially through the WILD technique. Now, I used to have SP episodes quite often recently, but when I learned that they were indeed SP and could be used to LD, they've sort of just stopped happening, it seems. So I wonder...

How does one go about inducing sleep paralysis?

I'm sure there's no single way or set technique for this, as it's happened to me in different settings before. What are your experiences with SP? Did it just happen, or was there a method you used?

Hi! Although I am new, I can induce sleep paralysis quite quickly and have just learned this after experimenting with WILD. I use the 61 point technique until my limbs feel heavy. Then use the reverse blinking technique until my body goes into sleep paralysis. When I go into SP, I get a tingling feeling (like a mild pins and needles) starting from my feet and working its way up my body. This lasts 10-20 seconds. Hope this helps!

I used to be able to do it. Not lately though. Whenever I try the 61pt technique, I usually fall asleep by about the 30th point. One of the OH SO MANY drawbacks to working 12 hour shifts at night....
