I'm not really a fan of WBTB myself; though it is proven to be the most effective for most people. Oddly, I WILD at the start of the night. It took a few months for it to be really effective (years of meditation didn't hurt either I guess). The point is even if you cannot do it for a year or so your skills at relaxing and meditating will improve, making early morning WILDs a breeze. After practice you can do this over and over in the same night.
Basically, I like to start with the MILD suggestion, that way I can WILD every time I wake up at night.
