I would like to add that confidence plays a large role in any mind (game?) The reason I use game is because our minds turn it into one. Lack of confidence can snowball just as confidence.
Your Topic alone suggests this --> Replying to Why Do I Suck

You seem to have the tools necessary. Be patient and be confident.

Alright, thanks. I'll be more confident- i just got a little stressed because just seems like forever! So just stop expecting it and it will come sooner? Idn but i'll try. Thanks.

The technique that worked for me was WBTB followed by MILD. What I did was I woke up 1 1/2 hours before I usually do, did homework for 45 mins and then went straight back to bed, practicing very weak MILD. What happened was that I had a very light sleep that allowed me to retain most of my conscious thought. So when some surreal stuff happened in my dream I realised I was lucid. That's what I'd recommend you try doing. I think it also helps if you don't think about lucid dreaming whilst your trying WBTB, it sounds counter-intuitive but then again lucid dreaming generally is. Also, don't try concentrating as much as you do on lucid dreaming, try and accept it's going to happen sooner or later. I don't do many RCs either but it couldn't hurt to increase it to maybe 7-10 times a day maybe. Try writing RC on your hands and instead of doing the standard nose-plug RC (which I assume your doing) have a look around, REALLY ask yourself am I dreaming? and perform more than one RC do the look at your hands one and the finger through palm one. Hope that helped.

Woooo! Congrats! =P i was hoping i would be the first out of sloths adoptees to ld but its cool! Only every time i read a MILD tutorial i get confused. Can you send me the one you think helps the most? That would be nice =). I'm glad i'm not the only one with this situation.
