      I'm currently trying so hard to get myself to wake up and become aware that I am awake after all of my dream periods but I can't. My dream recall isn't bad and I remember at lease 1 dream a night and I can remember where they end but I can't seem to help wake myself up. I've been using Brain Bullet for a couple of days but it doesn't seem to be helping. Thanks for any help on how to wake myself up.

      Assuming that you are on a regular sleep schedule (are you going to bed/waking up at roughly the same time each night?) and that you are writing in a Dream Journal, try drinking a couple glasses of water before bed. Two and a half works for me. Other people that live here are light sleepers, so using an alarm clock isn't an option for me (I'm assuming it's the same situation for you). Also, be sure to say out loud as well as in your thoughts that you will wake up after every dream. Think that, along with that you will remember your dreams. Auto-suggestion really helps! Basically, I just described what I've been doing for the past week (remembering a couple dreams per night, sometimes three).

      Also, what is Brain Bullet?

      WEll...Ive given this advice before, and it works for me: drink LOTS of water before bed. Drink some more when you get up to go the bathroom. I record almost all of my dreams during bathroom trips during the night. When the alarm goes off in the morning and it's time to hurry and get to work, my dreams fly out of my mind and rarely will I remember another. I usually quickly review what I've written during the night, add any dreams I can remember, and try to add more details and fix the bad handwriting, while I still sort of remember the earlier ones. If I don't do the review part, I come back to a bunch of meaningless random scribbles.

      Anyway, you can't help but wake up if you have to go pee at night.

      it's some crazy weird subliminal messaging program that flashes things on your computer screen that are only there for like 10 milliseconds but apparently your mind remembers it.

      As for the water thing. I'll try it tonight. I was planning on just trying to do a DEILD where you wake up and you keep your eyes closed and you enter sleep paralysis within seconds and you just jump straight into a LD. At least that's what i've read. I'll try this water drinking/WBTB method tonight. Thanks for the advice.

      That's the only problem with the water method. You have to get up to go every time you wake up. This has interfered with my attempting DEILD. But otherwise I just sleep thru the nite.

      Well I drank about 3 and a half bottles of water before going to bed. I drank water until I thought I was going to puke and then ten minutes later I did it again. I didn't wake up in the night. I had to pee real bad in the morning. I'll try it again tonight but I'll drink even more water starting earlier.

      I'm not doing this right. I drink so much water but I can't time it. I was asleep last night for only 30 minutes before I emptied my bladder. Then I woke up a 4 in the morning and peed but as I layed back down I instantly passed out before I could try WILDing or FILDing. Plus I barely had any dreams last night. I can remember all 4 dreams that I had fully but they were only a couple of minutes long each. I'm gonna make sure I become much more awake when I have to pee in the middle of the night so that I can consciously stay awake when I WILD. Hopefully tonight, with exactly 2 weeks of training, I will attain lucidity for the first time.
