So i woke up this morning, remembered my dreams; going over them, i discovered i have had a lucid dream:

"i was RC'ing. trying to put my finger through the palm of my hand, but it didnt went through fully i got stuck halfway. i tried again and again. Same result. Then i said to myself:' i have to do a good/another RC , because i'm definitely dreaming!' Then i got really happy. i did it. i did it. bouncing around. The dream was pretty vivid. There were 60 cm(2ft) high weird mushroom shaped object around and i was outside. "

But thats all i remember.. Probably because i don't wake up after every dream, i don't recall any more.
What to do about that. ? I won't set any alarm during the night. Don't want to disturb my gf.

Then after some time i remembered more. i was talking to a DC.(thats how i remember it) and asked him if he would be there the next time and i might have questioned him about the lucidity of my dream too. But this part of the dream if really faint.

Now i'm kinda happy for having a LD and at the same time kinda worried and disappointed;the reality of it is broken down. I even start to doubt if it wasnt a i dream i was lucid dream. And i really don't want to become more insecure about that.
How do i wake up after a LD? I think i should, don't i ?
It's soo strange to have this kind of faint recall about a lucid dream, it being my first since joining. Can anybody help me out. thanks

I've had sooo many of these haha. One night I remember having a bunch of different lucid dreams but only remembering little bits of them. Like flying around with my dog at my side, doing the text RC, and seeing the world burst into vivid colors when going lucid. I'm starting up a dream journal to give my dream recall a work out. I have the knack of getting into them but not the abbility to remember them too well. .

For me it really was the first LD. I so was not prepared for something like this..
i know expectations are useless but still i expected something else.
i do have a DJ.

-Is there any way i could make myself wakeup after a lucid or from within? and if so how?
-Is it really just a question of recall ?

@hobtoh : How do you handle it? I mean just this one makes me wonder if i hadn't have millions of lucids before and simply don't recall them. Makes me feel uncertain bout it , know what i mean ?

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. But like anything it's all the way you percieve it. I choose to see it as "Wow I can already LD before I have perfect dream recall this is awesome" haha you know what I mean. Just don't lose sight of the fact that you will get better at it and you will end up being able to remember the whole experience vividly. You are already experiencing an amazing world while in it, but until you can remember it it's as if it didn't happen.

what I'm doing is shifting my attention from LDing to dream recall. Hoping you get the hang of things. From what I can remember there is nothing else like it!
