Hey Everyone.
This DEILD (Dream re-Entry method) thing seems to work for a lot of people here , but unfortunately I haven't managed to try it properly yet.
My problem is that I usually only wake up once during the night, and that's when I need to go to the bathroom. And obviously I can't try DEILD then , because I can't just keep still and go back to sleep when I need to go to the bathroom!
The only other way for me to wake myself up is using an alarm clock. But I've heard that using an alarm clock wouldn't work for DEILD because 'you have to just naturally wake up after a dream'.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to use DEILD? (or maybe some other method that would work as well?)
Thanx

Try asking your subconscous very faithfully to wake up as many times during the night as it can, you'd be suprised it might work.

When I DEILD (before I knew what it was called), it most often occured on weekends. I realize as I wake at normal time 'oh, I can sleep in today' and easily re-enter the dream. Of course, a lot of those times I would not be lucid, unless I concentrated.

As LucidDreamGod said you may want to tell to yourself (or more directly to your SC) that you'll wake up more often during night and you may want to add that you will not move when awaking. That's what I did (except that awaking part - I used to wake up at least one time and thats short time before my longest REM-Phase) and it worked quite perfectly.

Or maybe you should try not to drink too much before going to sleep and actually go to the bathroom before sleeping. Just an idea. Hope this helps somehow.

Take care,
