I've recently stumbled onto this program called I-Doser. http://www.i-doser.com/

The program is designed to synchronize your brainwaves to that of which recreational drugs cause. This will then, in theory, give you the same effect as the drug.

I've played a few through. Its basically just static noise you need to listen too in a comfy position for 30-45 minutes, depending on dose.

The program offers lots of various doses, among them I found one that induces lucid dreams.

I haven't had chance to test this out yet. If anybody would like to help me test it, PM me.

      *will post results*

Yes I have known about this program for quite some time, I keep meaning to try it out. Binaural beats can be used for many, many things. They've been proved to work for alot of their uses, but as a hallucinogenic i've heard results can vary. I could be wrong about that though.

When I eventually try this program out I will post my results here.

Oh & in case you didn't know, you have to use headphones for it to work. Decent, over-the-ear types ones too, not the earbuds you get with mp3 players.

I've tried the Peyote2-brainwaves and started feeling really funny with a strange kind of energy inside of me. It was like muscle tention was just ''shooting'' out of my arms and legs which were twitching and feeling strange.

Haven't tried Lucid Dream Induction while sleeping yet. I tried it at a friends but here at home I don't have a good pair of headphones.

there's a thread on this already. But I do believe it works if you really focus on it. SKA you are supposed to listen to the LD one RIGHT before you go to bed, not while sleeping. Maybe it would work for WBTB?
P.S The other thread on this has a link with free doses.

Aslong as they're stereo, they'll work.

Trust me, you are much more likely to have more success & better results with proper headphones.

That's true, but most head-phones of today can do the frequencies from I-Doser. Some do it better than others though. Mine suck i.e., because they make a "bzzz" sound when they into high frequencies.

Yeah, over-the-ear headphones (as long as they're not cheapo ones, im talking the real deal here) are always gonna be of greater quality, because they have bigger speakers & allow a much more crisp & intimate sound. Some earbuds, like the ones with ipod, are pretty good in terms of sound quality. But to me earbuds are just no match to proper over-the-ear ones, I mean why do you think they still use them in recording studios & whatnot?

Sorry im babbling on a bit here lol.

I use a head-set from Sennheiser. It's good for gaming, and it's over the ear, so it doesn't destroy my hearing ability, but when it comes to music, it's literally terrible

Lol well its probably not a very good pair of headphones then, well for listening to music at least. I have two pairs of high quality sony headphones, one that is more orientated to DJ-ing, the other suitable for a studio environment. I use these mainly for recording my songs, & the sound quality is awesome, music sounds waaay better than it ever could through ear buds or speakers.

But yeah for gaming you don't really need amazing sound quality.

The night I tried "Lucid Dream" dose I had lucid dream (about week ago).

Actually I had 2 lucid dreams that night - one faded to dream and in a few seconds/minutes I became lucid again, but woke up after 3 seconds of control. BUT, the "problem" is I used also my favourite WBTB. I think that i-dose only helped a little as placebo or didn't helped at all.

This is what I wrote to our people on different board next morning (non-lucid dreaming people, so it might be longer cause I explained them some things).

"Aaight, soo... yes I had lucid dream tonight. BUT - I don't think it was because of this mp3, because it happens like 2 hours before wakin up.

I started to listen that mp3 at 23:15. I think I also felt asleep for a few minutes, in about 20th minute of the mp3 (of total 30 minutes). Then I went sleep. I guess it could be about 23:50...
I woke up soon to get on toilet because I dranked two cups of hot tea cause I'm kinda ill these days. That wakin up happened about 00:20 I think... I felt veeeery dumb. I was doped by the mp3 probably.

I woke up on my first alarm at cca 05:30 (don't remember exactly), because I wanted to try also WBTB (wake back to bed) technique for lucid dreaming. That's a technique when you sleep for about 5 hours and then you woke up for 30-60 minutes, get back to sleep and lucid dream should occur. I was awake for only like 15 minutes I guess, because I found out it's enough (no need for beeing awake 1 hour). I made few reality checks (you ask yourself if you're dreaming or you're in reality - if you get used to askin it anytime during the day it will be big chance you ask yourself same question automatically in your dream and you become lucid). I get back to sleep and had a longer dream - bla bla, I was about get out of the bus (in a dream) when I realized it's a dream. Unfortunately, I lost my control in about a second. Then I remember running between some larger buildings, I'm not sure I think I was still kinda lucid (very low level), but I wasn't able to control myself. Then I get on a small square between buildings, and I become lucid a lot more. Everything become amazingly real (more than reality) and I could control myself in a dream. I tried to stabilize myself (by watching ground, it helps) to not lose it in a second just like before. I touched my hands and rubbed them (also one of the technique how to stabilize) but then I woke up (as usually). This amazing state lasted about 5 seconds.

I think that mp3 was more something like placebo help."[/b]

Try wireless headphones, get some high quality comfort headphones and try laying on your back if you don't already. Oh and my friend tried the I doser lucid dream file and he had his first lucid. He is really involved in lucid dreaming now.

I've tried heaps of them, none of them worked. I even tried the hallucinating one, it did nothing.

I have to lay on my back but I can't sleep on my back but that's good, because while listening to that mp3 you shouldn't fall asleep.

That's the reason I use earbuds, they are more comfortable while lying down. Whenever I use those big ear covering ones they always get pushed by my pillow and don't cover my ears properly. It's just too distracting. A good set of earbuds can work perfectly fine. I've done it before and it works for me. I'm not saying earbuds can match the quality of those studio headphones, but they're easily good enough for this type of thing.

This is where i'd have to disagree with you. You might be able to get results with earbuds, but you'll get better ones with over-the-ear heaphones.

I have tried the Lucid Dream dose a couple of times, but it was only the first time my dream recall increased and my dreams were more vivid, but no lucid. The rest of the times I dreamt like I normally would.

But I think it is worth trying because we don't all react to it in the same way. And BTW. I'm using a Icemat headset

To everyone who has tried and failed with Binaural beats you have to remember to 1- Relax 2- Dont wait for or an effect just listen to the sound and let it wash over you. 3- Try lights out or dimmed 4- Binaural beats work on reverse immunity, your brain gets used to them and they become more powerful. I thought the same thing when I first tried them but now they work great.
