The basics of hypnosis is:
. Relaxing
. Keeping still
. Suggestion
. Focused attention
. Belife(placebo effect)
Well what if you did the complete opposite
. Don't relax
. Don't keep still
. Block out all thoughts
. Don't focus your attention(if you have ADD then you got this covered)
. Don't believe anything i.e. this won't work, but just try for the fun
You can move your hands like in a Fild, however move your hands really fast and don't imagine moving your hand. It best to move your hands and feet together and your eyes.
Don't try to sleep and don't do anything to make your mind relaxed, instead think about stuff and make your brain work harder.
Blocking out all thoughts is hard, but just focus on your eyelids. Alternatively you can focus on the sound of your bedroom.
No visulization or imagination. When you are trying this don't daydream because it would proberly put you in a hypnotic trance.
Well don't focus on something in particular and keep moving your attention, make sure your thought are random like one minaute your thinking off lips then the next movement then cars e.t.c.
P.S. I will try this with and without WBTB to see if this works. Note: their is a theory that before we fall asleep we enter a hypnotic state, I wonder if getting rid of this hypnotic state will make you lucid. Also this method needs no visulization(don't visulize) or any skill what so ever
