      Power of observation

Observation the key to lucidity, even if it just a RC

Meditation and practice gives you carmness and expands you're brains, which is a combination of decrease stress and excersizing brain. Okay so what do we excersize to have a lucid dream.

Watching the film K-Pax and then american psycho their is two contrasting personailities, one of a self conscious killer and secondly a conscious crazy person. Animals react are you a animal? sadly yes, but we have two things that seperate us.

So theortically speaking if you increase you're observation then maybe you can increase the part of the brain that does observation. Animals are not internal creatures and homosepians have fell down the error of being to self conscious and weakly observent.

I guess the simple message is be more observational, ALWAYS. Simply start by doubling you're observation and then when you are confortable push against it. As humans we settle for the confortable and observation is the thing we most don't want to do. When you sleep don't just switch of try to observe more of you're environment and thoughts.

P.S. sometimes you need to kick down the door, haha

Yes I think you are right that generally being observant is a big help in lucid dreaming. It is hard to do tho. Little tricks to remind you, not just to do RC's but to really observe your surroundings, are helpful. I tend to be oblivious, doing things like driving a long distance and arriving without remember the drive at all, so I need practice with this. But I'm better than I used to be.

You are right about this! My main technique is to try and stay aware, from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep. It's not easy, but when I am successful at doing this, at least most of the time during the day. I will start having a lot of Lucid Dreams. Plus, for some reason it really helps with recall as well.

Wow I never really thought about this you are quite right. If you were to ask people different things that they saw throughout the day like while on a drive or on a walk they probably wouldn't be able to tell you much. And you are very right and I can see how this would apply to dreaming as well the more observant you are throughout the day the more observant you could be in a dream therefore allowing you to find errors. Nice post.

agreed, nice post. simple, but to the point. we all could use a little reminding to be more observant. what's more important than that as a lucid dreamer?
