Iv been unsuccessful with dreaming but now for the past few days iv been 100% dreaming and recalling

Well what iv been doing is telling myself like a few times during the day and before i go to bed that no matter what i cannot prevent having a lucid dream tonight. Like it will happen without a doubt. then i just wake up or get woken up from my grandparents and then go back to bed and bam lucid dreams. So tonight im going to realize im dreaming it may be tough but i gotta achieve it.

Edit: and plus iv been recalling every dream i have right when i wake up. I remember them and then yeah i think my recall is good now and maybe that opens up oppertunity to ld again and again

Congratulations, yeah I think you are right the better your recall is the more often you dream or become lucid although obviously you dream every night so if your recall is good that just means you are remembering more of what is happening.

This seems to be the important bit. It seems like a growing trend that if one can convince themselves that they will have a lucid dream, they usually end up having one. I'm not sure how this confidence thing ties into realising you are dreaming, but it sure is interesting.
