      I Had My First Ld

      I had my first Lucid Dream!!!!!!!!
      It was VERY VERY short but I was nose manualling around and I was like......."wait a second........I'm asleep right now."
      And I even pictured myself sleeping and I saw it very clearly but I could still see the dream scene. And I remember it SOOOOOO vividly and everything was so real and I remember saying to myself.........I love this feeling.
      But the entire time I was lucid I was looking down. And it lucidity faded away as quickly as it came

      I also remember telling myself to stay calm. AND I DID! I was like "no worries"

      I guess that's what made me fall back out of lucidity!
      BUT IT WAS FUN!

      Dont worry...its normal for people to wake up quickly after their first lucid...thats what happened to me except my stereo turned on and in my dream I was like whats that sound? and I knew it was my stereo and then became lucid then woke up...

      Wait you guys, I didn't wake up, I just lost lucidity!

      And to answer incomplete's question. I actually quit trying to attain lucidity and ever since then, my dream recall has been fantabulous!!! I still remember dreams from weaks ago and I havn't even been writing them down.

      All I've been doing is keeping a positive attitude towards it and just have it in the back of my mind so when I have nothing else to think about. I think about lucidity!

      Thats actually quite interesting, ever since my first LD i have not written a single thing into my Dream recorder thing. for the first 2 days i could vividly recall dreams anyway, but now my recall has started to fade. I think i'll start recording again.

      My advice to you is to still write your dreams down anyway so that when your recall starts to decay like mine has, you don't have to make writing your dreams down a habit again. (like i need to now)
