Hi all,
I know that there's a lot of questions/threads about WILD, and I've tried to look in many of them, but with this kind of subjet(dreaming) I feel like my question can be answered a lot better by sharing my own personal experience So here it is.
I've been training WILD for some weeks now(been into LD for only about 4 weeks. I've had 3 LD's). So far I've actually been quite happy with my progress, but I have yet to do a succesull WILD But I'm not in a hurry, I'll take my time.
Anyway, so just some minutes ago I got up from another WILD attempt, and I'm actually pretty excited about what happened. And I hope someone would be able to answer if it's on the right track to a succesfull WILD.
Anyway, so I lay down in my bed, and start to relax. All is good and I lay there just counting(I've found that it's easier for me to just count than repeating a sentence). From my other WILD attempts I figured the reason I didn't get to far(only a light SP) was that I'm concentration too much on the feelings my body has. So today I thought to myself that I would just try to focus only on the numbers, and the numbers only. And not every single detail and change in the feeling of my body So anyway, as I started to do this I suddenly began to slip in and out of very, very random thoughts that just came out of nowhere. Now during those thoughts I didn't count, and wasn't really lucid, I was just flowing with the thoughts. Almost like a dream, just without pictures if you know what I mean, it's just black, only your thoughts. They would last very short, and I slipped out to my own thoughts again thinking to myself "where the hell did those thoughts come from" So I continued doing this, although increasing my concentration on the numbers I counted so I wouldn't slip into a dream without knowing. Then, all of the sudden I felt my right arm starting to "sink" and then it felt complety numb. And this is where the cool stuff(for me anyway) happened. When my arm go numb, it seriously felt like it was swingning slowly from the left to the right, left, right, left, right. And this must've been a start on an SP. Although the rest of my body weren't quite there yet, only my right arm. It felt like my arm were in the dream world while the rest of the body and myself where waiting to slowly fall in! It was pretty exciting. I'm also pretty sure that I saw one single black and white picture fly through the black thing when you've closed your eyes.
After this nothing more really happened, and I decided that would be it for today. And I was pretty happy with it.
I would just like to know whenever this was the start of the right SP, and whenever I'm on the right track to do a proper WILD, so I don't waste my time training in a wrong way.
In my next attempt I will try to relax even more as the SP kicks in.
Thank you all for the time,
cheers.
