First of all, hello to everybody here on the forums. Hope to improve my lucidity here. Been browsing around, nice to see that there is no flaming or spam here.
Anyway, I've been trying to get lucidity for a while. I didn't actually succeed until this morning (on accident.) I woke up early today (slept 7 hours) and stood up, just walking around and taping things to the wall for about 20 minutes. Afterwards, I went back to my bed and lay there for about an hour or so before dozing off to sleep in a few seconds after closing my eyes. I was half-awake, half-conscious for the 10 seconds or so the dream lasted. I was fully aware of the very slight movement my body made in response to my motions in the dream. I actually noted a small tingling in my face in RL from a water splash in my face in the dream. But then, I just woke up for no reason.
Just a second or two afterwards, I realized that I had just had a lucid dream, and got up to start the day. This matches the description of NILD, but I haven't done enough real research to be sure. I'm hoping I can try this again next weekend. Can anybody give me any tips to increase my chances? Thx.
