Try to stay positive. I made two attempts early this morning (like my post you replied to) but I try not to get down about not becoming lucid. Each time I made more progress than before.

The first few times I managed sleep paralysis, my heart start racing and my breathing got deeper. This wasn't intentional, and I wasn't afraid, just seemed like a natural reaction. Now I expect SP and I am able to keep my breathing at the same rate. So each time you attempt it, even though you don't become lucid, you make more progress and are one step closer.
