I tried sleeping in the fetal position, (legs up against your chest, arms, somewhere around there) I almost had a WILD this way, and I just had a MILD by using this technique, it was a loooong lucid dream too, and very vivid, most awesome... |

very interesting, as i am the one who sparked this in another thread. It appears that as you become older your sleep positions change. For me, going back the old way helped, but for others new ways help... I guess its just different for everyone. |

ye, eberybody probably have to find their position... |

The Tibetans dream yogis suggest sleeping on your right if you're a man your left if you're a woman. In the 'lion posture' - bend the knees enough so that you are stable, rest the top arm along the side and place the lower hand under the cheek. It may help to use a slightly higher pillow to make the sleep lighter. (from The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep, Tenzin Rinpoche, Snow Lion Pubs, Ithaca 1998) |

Oh my god, can you work out the puzzle?
Usually, when I LD, I'll wake up either on my right or on my stomach. But after my most vivid dreams, I'll wake up on my back. |

I think my LD's are mostly on my right, but I haven't counted that to be sure... |

I used to sleep w/my "arse-in-the-air", and I find myself waking up in that position when it's too cold... My mother teases me about it. |
