      I see no reason that it would do anything, but if it did it would only last for that day, and it would probably only be being tired.

      It would make your REM periods shorter and give you more chances to try and have a LD.

      That's actually I way I do it. Though, lately I've been lazy about doing a proper WBTB. I've been waking, resetting the alarm then going right back to bed. Shame on me.

      The way I've had the most success is doing a real WBTB after about 5 - 5 1/2 hours and staying up for 15 - 25 minutes. Then on the later alarms just staying up long enough to think straight. It's best when you're able to sleep in (of course).

      From memory a lot of people have talked about doing WBTB over and over again. Some people have a lot of success I hear, I reckon just set the alarm the first time and train yourself to remember to stay still when every dream ends, just keep going like that. Otherwise yes, you will probably interrupt your awesomo dreams with a stupid alarm clock!
