Oh, I know it works. I've already had several lucid dreams in the past few days, so it's definitely the best method I've ever tried. All I'm saying is it's a trade-off for me, not being able to record my normal dreams.

oh, yeah, got it. I'd say you might try setting aside some days to record, some to ld. Maybe even have month-long states of either strictly recording dreams or strictly lding.

Yeah, this morning I was in a real bind. I woke up after having a truly memorable, epic normal dream--the most vivid I've had in months, and I couldn't decide whether to record it or use the lucid technique. I wound up recording it, because it was too good to pass up.
