In my experience, exercise clears up my head and helps with dream recall and vividness. Exercise does not have to be the type that makes you exhausted all night. |

You are dreaming right now.
I workout 5 days a week before school. Then from school i work. |

I think that getting really exhausted from a lot of exercise will kill your recall, but regular exercise (that isn`t to the point of exhaustion) will help regulate your sleep, among other things. Exercise is just plain good for you |

More exercise than normal will cause more deep sleep and crappy dreams. If you run ten miles a day then your body will be used to it and sleep normally, if you run three miles a day, then run a ten miler, you will be more tired. |

Like some others said, I find excercise, does not affect me too much in terms of dreams...If you go above and beyond, you probably will just crash for the night but if you do a moderate amount often, your body should get in the swing. I find when I work out (did) I would have some pretty interesting dreams...after my body got used to it. I'm not sure what it has to do with but I think a slight amount of excercise before bed, then a nice hot shower, might put you in a good state for dreaming, over time. just some thoughts... |
