i dont think b6 found naturally in foods is all that much, like 8% is the percentage the fda says you should have on a daily basis, but the pills with 50 mg have somethin like 300% of the daily value so thats why its effective, for some people at least. hey o'nus, are you a professor or doctor or something? your posts are always real in depth and smart, youre like an expert on everything

Also note that excessive overdose of Vit. B6 over an extended amount of time (and I mean extended ) can apparently result in deterioration of the nervous system.

Usually vitamins have no symptoms to overdosage, but I'm just passing on what I read on a medical site

Where can you get melatonin? Same place as B6? I'll have to try that technique of taking some at night and some later at night. Is it better to take melatonin during the day or at night?

Its better to aquire the vitamins naturally through eating foods that contain them, the body absorbs them better. Most of the time the suppliments you buy, goes straight through you and out into the toilet
But I guess if the pills work for you, do whatever works

Most pharmacies seem to have it, should be easy to find.
Definitely about 20 or 30 minutes before going to sleep.
And try to go to sleep at your normal time, otherwise you're screwing with your sleep patterns

BTW, you can get melatonin with B6 included. Also, you can get sublingual melatonin (goes under your tongue and is absorbed quicker).
Either way, I suggest you do some searching about them for your own peace of mind eg google.com

I think at 12 you can take as much as an adult. On the bottles the directions say, "Suggested to take one tablet a day." You can get a bottle of 50mg or 100mg, either one should be fine.

I dont suggest taking a lot though. I read somewhere on this site(i cant remember where) that if your under 15 or something, then it has the possibility of screwing up your nervous system because of all that growth and puberty crap. Someone please confirm this.

Ah shoot hadn't thought of the puberty thing.

Yeah I also remember reading that. But I also remember reading that you'd have to take them for a long time in order for them to be harmful.

Well, in any case, Remus, I think LDing/dream recall is easier to learn naturally when you're young. So keep trying without any supplements for a bit, how bout that?
