      Question R.e.m.

I heard somewhere that some guy timed rapid eye movement, with his WILD cycle. So when he started the WILD cycle, he started dreaming almost immediatly.

I would like to know more about this sort of thing. It sounds quicker and easier than just WILDing on it's own.

Here's what I did to measure my REM:

-Establish a consistent sleep schedule. As in all applications of these experiments, consistency is key.
      -Set alarms at random intervals.
-If you wake up without a dream in your head, set the alarm forward by ten minutes for the next night. Do this until you wake up in the middle of a dream.
-Set the alarm at that time, or a few minutes before then (may need adjustment) for your short awakening.

I use it to wake myself just after (or during) REM to write down dreams. I've reformatted the technique just now for waking up just before REM, but... I've heard that waking up during REM is easiest for WILDing. Something about waking up before a dream alters the sleep cycle, I think.

Well, I'm already good at WILDing, I'm just always looking for easier/faster ways to do it.

In responser to Abra, my brother might not like that, cause he sleeps in the same room that I do. My parents might not be thrilled about it either.
