      Post Third Attempt At WILD

Last night I made my third attempt at a WILD, and I'm making progress! I got to the first stage of SP, the "subtle" vibrations, which wasn't very subtle I vibrated like you do when you're very cold, and your body vibrates heavily, especially in the legs and arms, but this time the whole body vibrated.

It came in waves, starting kinda small in the legs, and it got stronger and stronger until the whole body shook. My heart was at like 500 bpm and I was sweating heavily. Then suddenly the vibrations stopped. I suppose I lost focus. I regained focus a bit, but after a while the vibrations stopped again. Then it was impossible to get them back so I decided to get som normal sleep and try again tonight.

Note that this was when I first went to sleep, which proves that it is possible to WILD when you first go to sleep, or at least half possible

      Hope it goes better tonight.

Well, when the vibrations stopped ... you may have entered a dream already, but just didn't know it (possible). Next time, try moving your dream body or something.

      Congrats! You're almost there.

I think this is a good example of why it's difficult to WILD when you first go to sleep for the night. You can get to sleep paralysis and even stay aware through the transition to sleep. The only problem is, you can't go directly from SP into a dream. You don't normally have a REM period that early in the night, so there is no dream to enter.

Try this same thing after 5 hours of sleep, and you will hopefully find yourself in a dream afterwards instead of waking up.

      Good luck.

Of course it's possible to WILD when you first go to bed, but the dream is very quick then you go into deep sleep and in your next dream cycle the memory is wiped clean.

Was your body actually vibrating? That's not supposed to happen, it's supposed to just feel like it, your body should be perfectly still, are you sure that you weren't just cold?

Anyway, if it was brain vibrations then after the second wave passes over you do a reality check. You might be dreaming that you are still trying to get there. I think that happened to me once. I'm also going to attempt a WILD tonight, let's both have one!

Well, after the vibrations first stopped, I did a reality check but I was still awake

My body did actually vibrate, at least I think so, but I was'nt cold. I was sweating and I was so warm that at one point I considered putting my leg outside my bed to get some cold air on it.
