      I'd think it's be harder since the body uses deep sleep for restoring itself. However, because you are depriving yourself of REM, the next time that you can sleep for 8 or 9 hours you will have a ton of really vivid dreams.

      Thanks! That'll be every other weekend then... I can live with that for lucid dreams. Think of it as something to look forward to

      It seems to help me have lucid dreams when i have had less sleep the previous night.

      I agree - when I am sleep deprived, I usually remember more dreams, especially if I sleep 10+ hours after being sleep deprived. But that's no reason to intentionally sleep deprive yourself lol!
