Question A Logical Approach to Setting Wild Times

Does anyone know if there is a logical way to figure out what is the best time for you to wild, other than doing a bunch of trial and error. I know that Its best 6 to 4.5 hours after sleep but this can very a little from person to person. Next even more difficult is how long you stay up. The problem is trying to find the right mix of the two to get optimal wild times with two variables. Do I lock one out, that is to say get up for 15min and alter the amount I sleep each time untill I get good results and then switch the two, or what?

It's a hard fine-tuning to run with. I say that you should calculate how long you stay awake comfortably to WILD, first. Then I'd set the times to awaken.

The duration of time should be top priority to settle, because it directly affects your quality of sleep afterwards, and if a WILD is successful. Much moreso than the time you WILD, because if you can achieve the right state of mind and comfort of body through duration of time, you may experience WILD even if your time of attempt is off. Find a duration of time through which you do not feel restless afterwards, but can keep your thoughts straight for at least ten minutes while attempting to WILD.

After that, move on to finding the right time to wake up. Many suggest to wake up during a REM period.

EDIT: Post 666. You are all cursed now.

Thanks Abra, I realize now that the amount of time I stay up is more important than when wake up, I can tune that in later.
