I have a question about different LD initiation skills.

Is WILD really the best way? I don't want to mess with it because of SP and crap, so what is the second most effective method that does not involve SP. Or am I out of luck, meaning I need SP to have LDs.

For other information, I'm currently in the stage of increasing dream recall and dream journaling, but I want to know this for future references.

      Hey, welcome to DV!

SP happens to you whenever you go to sleep. So, there's no way to ever really avoid it. It's a very good thing that you have SP, otherwise you'd be falling out of your bed or something every night.

WILD is a very popular method, but it is also considered to be the most difficult. Not everyone has difficulty with it, but a large number of people do. I would suggest trying WBTB + MILD with plenty of RCs throughout the day.

I know that SP occurs naturally, but WILD induces it by tricking your body in to falling asleep and your mind still "awake". I would rather have a more "user friendly" technique for lucid dreams. Is there any relatively easy methods to induce lucid dreams with practice?

Well like I said, WBTB + MILD is a good one.

Thank you, this method sounds simple and friendly to newcomers.

Am I understanding this method right? I sleep for about 5-6 hours, then wake up for about 30-60 minutes, during this period, I concentrate on lucid dreams. Finally, I take a nap with in mind knowing I will be in a dream when I'm dreaming. Am I understanding this correctly?
