Some advice from a Lucid Dreamer.

Hi,Im new to this place and I see so many of you trying hard to have Lucid Dreams so I though Id tell you what triggers mine.
Note,Ive never wanted mine so I try to avoid having them and therefore know what triggers them for me.
Reading about it def is a trigger.Same with thinking about it before falling asleep.
I didnt think about it last night but had read alot,I was extremely tired and BOOM,there it was.
Being extremely tired helps too, because then its as if my body falls asleep before my mind and BOOM,Im there again.
Getting up very early in the morning and then taking an afternoon nap when very tired, around perhaps 5-6 pm does it too.

Dont know if this helped much.
For those who go into SP first,if you want to stay " in the dream",almost always works for me trying to wake up first( cause that sure never happens).
I dont try to relax cause then I tend to just drift away into the "no dreaming, deeper sleep"
When "stuck in SP" I also try to sing or talk or whatever(this can sound very funny, haha)
And then I focus on moving around as soon as I can.

      :-)

      Well,I didnt know that*lol*
Like I said,I never had to figure out how,it just happens to me anyway.
You should try singing though, its real fun.
My voice sounde like 10 voices wrapped into one and vibrating and I started having fun with it,singing louder and louder, then I got interrupte with a giggle and some quick jibber jabber, and that freaked me out, cause I know that wasnt me...not anything I wanted anyway.
Thing is,once in Sp,it can be quite hard to wake up,so if focused on something within the mind( dont wiggle toes, that will wake one up) then I ten to stay there longer...So imagine singing, hear the voice,or...talk.
Im not saying you should do it outloud, you dont have to.
Imagine you are singing or talking and hear the voice in your head.
If you try to actually sing for real,u might wake up

      Let's hear your dreams
And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.
You are becoming aware of yourself as a game master.

I had my first LD the other night. It wasn't exciting.
But I'm sure happy he's shared. I'll have to see if it works on me. I don't think auto-sugjestion works on me though.
