Thread: Lucid dreams and no controll!!!

Look deep into yourself. Do you believe that you are the master of your dreams and can control them?

or

Do you have that little feeling of doubt hiding somewhere?

You CAN control your dreams! All you need to do is believe in yourself.

Start off small. Making things appear is a difficult thing (for me at least). Try finding things. Tell yourself, "When I look around the corner, I will find a can of Coke sitting on the ground" or something simple like that.

It is much easier and I still use that method myself.

And I'm sure control will improve with the more lucid dreams you have. Seeker's right, it's all about believing that you're in control, which can be hard to do when you're new at lucid dreaming.

You can do it..

However believeing may not be enough, you must be able to get along with your subconsious (mine hated me for awile). I still find that in some LD's it sets rules.. which are annoying, cause even though i know i am in control.. it blocks me.

Hey, have ya tried summoning your subconscious in a form of a dream character and talking to it?

no, he decides when its time to appear, and can take any form. Sometimes it'll just talk to me, sometimes it'll say "You can't do that", or somethin like that. But no, i have no control over him, nor do i know what he is thinking (because your subconsious is locked in, and only lets you know certain things). I guess its kinda hard to explain, but you can't fight it, you have to understand what it wants (or rather, what you truly want).

I had the opposite happen to me. I had a reguar dream where I did strange things like make the ground move up but I was not lucid.
