I was about to try this technique, just to see if I could manage the black out part. Then I realized I still had my contacts in. LOL.

Wow. Considering my name and that Henry David Thoreau is one of my favorite writers, your sig really suits me.
I am posting on topic elsewhere for the most part.

My DJ here at DVs, Realized Aspiration only contains old dreams. I'll be around for the occasional chat, and some unfinished/unstarted RPs.

I like the idea of this technique, but am having some trouble.

When I first tried this I got my eyes to black out first try, was very easy. But I didn't get to the closing my eyes part, my vision kept coming back. I've tried a bunch more times since then but I can't get my vision to black out anymore because I can't seem to keep my eyes still. I'll stare at a point for 20 seconds or so and then my eyes will rapidly jerk around slightly as if they've lost their lock on the spot I'm looking at. They'll stop jerking for 20 seconds and then it'll happen again. It's driving me crazy. Anyone have any tips?

I'm about to go to sleep and will try again during my WBTB. I'll check back here in the morning.

It's really not that easy. After about five minutes your eyes will be watering and you will be straining to keep them still.

This seems good, i might try it.

I use to do this when i was younger but in a place with good ilumination. Found it fun because after a while i would start seeing stars and cloud-like things moving on my visual field and the vision would go totally white from the periphery to the middle without me being able to see anything anymore at a point.

Never tried it on the dark and with the purpose on mind of WILDing. I got to try it as i've tried other techniques and i never got to the HI part (i think i went to the SP part though).
