I think that's a fantastic idea, because in your dreams you have many scene changes. So I think ultimately, these habits will transfer to your dreams, giving you a better chance to induce a DILD. |

Everybody, do an RC whenever you go somewhere. |

Yeah...no harm trying anything U can think of. Whatever U feel will work usually does.. |
thats an awesome idea, i just need to get into a habit of doing that. |
I agree with this, it's just that you do a reality check when you see something odd, right? |
i dont really feel comfortable launching my finger through my palm in public.. lol, just sayin |
We all are so deeply interconnected; we have no option but to love all. Be kind and do good for any one and that will be reflected. The ripples of the kind heart are the highest blessings of the Universe.
Well you don't have to, for me an rc just consists of realizing to check and not doing an actual physical check. If you stop and think for 2 seconds it is usually obvious if you are awake or dreaming. Most RCs make you look like a moron and I don't think they're necessary. |
Everyone wants to do it always, it's very difficult to do that every time. Start looking for three or four a week. |
the hardest bit about this technique is making it from an action into a habit. I've tried and failed at this idea. I find it nearly impossible to notice when I change surroundings EVERYtime. |

The problem with this is that you would probably do an RC as a result of entering a different place and and you usually dont travel in dreams (you just seem to "be" there). Does that make sense? Anyway, it can't hurt |
Everything makes sense once you stop thinking about it
Um... I don't know all of the lingo yet. What's an RD and... uh a DILD? What are these things? Ha maybe something else I do that I don't know about... |
DILD is where you just realize that you are dreaming after you are already in a dream. RC is a reality check, something that helps you distinguish the real world from the dream world. There is a list of all of the abbreviations in the tutorials section. |
"Changing scenes" is a somewhat relative term. I try to do an RC whenever I enter or leave a building or vehicle. That happens at just about the right frequency along with my other cues. |
Perhaps Rc'ing too much will cause you to stop questioning reality and it will become as thoughtless and usual as entering a room. |
Maybe you could teach your self to do the nasel passage RC every 20 breaths or so. Then if you began to do it without even thinking then you would be lucid literally all the time. |
Being lucid doesn't necesarrily mean that you're not sleeping. As long as you aren't doing something extremely tiring and annoying in your dream, you won't be like that in the morning. Feelings carry over from dreams into reality. |

I don't think RCing everywhere is necessary. I mean, although today I had a dream with zero dream signs in it, I don't think it's worth it to constantly like punch yourself in the face or something and see if it hurts. |
Prepare to enter a world bound only by your imagination.
This reminds me of the dream yoga. I think that dream yoga would be a better way to get the 100% lucid rate (don't know if anyone has actually achieved that yet). In my opinion random RC's dosen't really have any effect, only when you are suspicious that you are actually dreaming. |
This has already been proposed as the "door-RC". It didn't work for anyone, since nobody could remember to do it. Great idea, but it won't work. |

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

Yes, but you can do it in more ways. You can RC at random, hoping randomly to do so in a dream, or you could just train yourself do do an RC everytime something wierd happens. From my viewpoint, the last one is the effective one. You just don't randomly do RC's in dreams (at least i don't). |
