      Extreme vibrations scared me

Last night I got in bed at about 1pm. I put on my new Pink Floyd Dark Side of The Moon cd with headphones. Laid on my stomach and at about the 4-5th track of the cd I started feeling numb. My legs then it went to my head to my finger tips (which where above my head).

Of course this is normal. I feel this every night. I laid there coming in and out of consciousness while being relaxed but aware of Pink Floyd. All of the sudden from my toes to the top of my finger tips a wave of vibration came. Extremely powerful, it felt as if my bed was moving. My eyes started flipping out in my head and saw flashing colors and lights. The vibration got faster and stronger. My heart wasn't racing of course it was at a slow pace, but I got way to freaked out and opened my eyes to wake myself and moved.

Never in my life have I been that scared or felt such strong vibrations. My whole damn bed felt like it was moving what was going on??

You ALMOST successfully WILDed - and maybe even got there.

I tried to ride them out a few nights ago, but they didn't go anywhere, just kept on going and going, and didn't push me into a dream. But, be glad you can get to the Vibrations, because like PJ said, it means your really close to successfully WILDing.

I've never experienced it like though. I've did a wake back to bed before why doesn't the vibrations happen then?

Those vibration was very intense it scared me so bad it made my stomach upset. I was debating on moving of course, because I didn't know if we was having an earthquake or it was just part of me going into the dream state.

Thats some scary stuff though... lmao I like it

I've experienced it in a variety of ways. Normally I only feel a sort of "shift" and maybe a gentle vibrating sense. Other times the vibrations can get really intense. It's not always the same.

i'm beginning to think there's something wrong with me. for some reason, when i feel vibrations, hear sounds or any other effects during SP, i enjoy them and its like a euphoria for me when i get them. is this normal?
I need my sleep. I need about eight hours a day, and about ten at night.

Immaterium, there's nothing wrong with you at all.. unless there's something wrong with me as well. I too enjoy/look forward to all SP experiences as they let me know that a WILD is just around the corner.

I did a WBTB last night and did my second WILD attempt ever. Both have been successful but with this one came my first experience of vibrations (I thought I'd felt them before but it was nothing like this!) It was unbelievably intense. It felt like I had fallen onto an electric fence and couldn't get up. I'm glad I'd found this forum just a few days ago or I would have utterly freaked out. Luckily I knew what it was and just went with it, although I did start to panic a bit when my breathing changed on me. Then I felt my mind detaching from my body and I had a FA which I didn't recognise despite my TV failure, then I woke up for real, WILDed again and had an LD. It was weird. There was a goblin sitting on my bed prodding my arm and generally annoying me so I flew out my bedroom window to get away.

Holy shit dude. Is your avatar/sig a real dream? I swear to god I had the same blue god thing, while there was a neighborhood around it, people worshipped it and rejoiced. The farther you go away from it you enter 64, 32, and 16 bit worlds, until there is void.
