      Exclamation I need help waking!

I've been trying to WILD and i want to get up at 3:30 or 4:00, but i can't wake up without a extremely loud alarm. I have the loud alarm (my cell phone) but it would wake everyone up in my house. How can I wake up, without disturbing anyone else? PLEASE HELP!

I need to wake up to write my more recent dreams down.

I swear to god I read "wanking".

Well, self-induction. Convince yourself you're going to wake up after every dream. It's as easy as it can get.

I imagine that wouldn't work with me, because i am a heavy sleeper. Or does being a heavy sleeper affect it at all?

No, that shouldn't affect it. I'm not a heavy sleeper myself, so you wanna ask somewhen else then.

hmm.... what about a vibrating watch or something like that? although, it would have to be a pretty damn strong vibration...
I need my sleep. I need about eight hours a day, and about ten at night.

      Light alarm clock

Hi, I use a "Light Alarm Clock", which is an alarm clock that wakes you up by means of a lamp integrated inside the device. It increases the luminosity little by little during a period of time (like 30 minutes or so on), and finally the illuminate room wakes you up. And you have the option to set a sound alarm for the end, if you want.

I hope you will find it helpful!!!

have you not tried drinking atleast 2 cups of water before bed. It is the most effective when trying to wake up and trying to WILD.

THIS may be your best friend

just make your affirmations about 'become aware when you naturally awake in the night'
'notice when you awake in the night'

something along those lines, just try the format of the technique

I have exactly the same problem. I normally use my ipod's alarm function. The downside of this, is that it's pretty iritating to sleep with the easrbuds, and that they might fall out during the night.
Drinking lots of water before bed is also a good solution for me.

Could you sleep wearing shorts with pockets, and have your phone set to vibrate in your pocket? I keep mine on the bed next to me and that does the trick, but maybe having it actually against you will be able to do it?

Try to sit up in bed and write in your dream journal (even just the time you woke up if you don't remember a dream) every single time that you wake up in the middle of the night. It should help you get into that habit. It will suck, and you'll want to just roll over and go back to sleep, but it will help you.

I forgot where I heard it, but someone on the forums suggested setting the alarm on a cell phone, putting it on vibrate, then putting it in a pair of socks. The vibrating against your foot might be enough to wake you.
